A three-in-one RCC (Reinforced Cement Concrete) spun pipe plant has a concrete batching plant, pipe mold spinning section, and IBS plant section that fabricates various types of RCC pipes only. Like other spun pipe plants, it formulates concrete with a specific ingredient amount through the batching process. Distributing concrete from the batching plant to the respective casting area through a traveling hopper system and spun pipe feeder machines.
It fabricates wire cages by using a welding-resistant cage welding machine. And then, it manufactures compacted RCC pipes by filling up a homogenous mixture of concrete and placing wire cages into spinning pipe molds under high rotating speed to induce centrifugal force forces uncured concrete compacts against the inner wall of spinning pipe molds. Thus, concrete pipes have high inherent strength and rigidity to convey the fluid efficiently, withstand the fluid pressure exerted against the pipe wall, withstand the dead weight in the earth, and the live loads above the ground. All these performance requirements are based on the purpose of the pipeline products and the standards. Joints of every concrete pipe play an imperative role in allowing the assembly of the continuous line of pipe with proper soil-tightness and water tightness properties. Such properties ensure all RCC concrete pipes can bear the extreme shearing movement and deflection affected by the uncertainty highly unpredictable of load impact and earth movement. Other than that, this spun pipe plant includes lifting devices, compressive and hydrostatic load testing systems. Numerous lifting devices at the demolding section can lift a single piece of RCC concrete pipe or a mold (or both together) for up to 10 tons.
